BUILD THE RIGHT SCOPE

Cabinet & trim painting,
planned around you.

Every property is different. Use these starting points to describe the work you have in mind.

01

Cabinet surfaces

Discuss doors, drawer fronts, frames and any visible sides. Specify exactly which surfaces are included.

02

Doors & woodwork

Coordinate painted doors, baseboards, casings and other trim for a more consistent finish.

03

Preparation & finish selection

Review the current coating and surface condition before agreeing on preparation, application and suitable products.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Plan for everyday life, too.

Ask about access to your kitchen or room, which items need emptying, and drying or curing expectations. Hardware removal, reinstallation and interior cabinet surfaces should be addressed explicitly in the scope.

LET’S CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP

More questions? Call (216) 744-4737.

Is cabinet painting the same as replacing cabinets?

No. Painting changes the finish; it does not change the layout or repair every structural problem. The condition of the cabinets helps determine whether repainting makes sense.

Are cabinet interiors included?

Only if they are part of the agreed scope. List doors, frames, shelves, interiors and exposed sides separately when discussing the estimate.

Can I keep using the kitchen?

Access depends on the process and layout. Discuss your needs before scheduling, along with when freshly finished surfaces can return to normal use.

Can I get a price from the number of doors?

A door count is helpful, but preparation, material, surface condition and the full scope also affect the estimate.
